Audit Categories

Purpose

Audit Category is the standard according to which the item is made. It is a quality check standard and every category has different standards.

Procedure

• Set the Audit Category Code,
• Enter the complete description of the Audit Category in the Audit Category Name
• Select the customer from of the drop-down list, if associated to the Audit Category
• Select the supplier from of the drop-down list, if associated to the Audit Category
• Comments section is for the additional information about the Audit Category

Tips and Tricks

Audit standards can vary from region to region or company/supplier to company/supplier

• For Example
• European standards follow different audit categories and American standards follow different audit categories
• Some customers demand the items to be on ISO-9000 standards or some suppliers claim their item to be on some specific standards
